The Transformers film series is extremely well known, and loved by many. On June 9th, 2023, the newest addition to the series directed by Steven Caple Jr., “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, was released. Personally, I loved this movie and it made me remember why I love these films so much. Fan favorites such as Optimus Prime and BumbleBee star in the movie, alongside Miraje, and other new Autobots as supporting characters. The Autobots are forced to go to war with the Terrorcons (the antagonists), as they must save the planet Earth from the Terrocon’s evil plan.

The Autobots in the film did, however, have help. Noah Diaz, a young ex-military electronics expert, and artifact researcher Elena Wallace find themselves caught in the Autobots’ efforts for victory. Without giving away too much detail of the plot, it is key to note that the Autobots find a new ally, one more similar to them than they ever knew about. This aspect of the storyline was especially interesting to me. There are many scenes that left me shocked and astounded, however, this film does an excellent job of circling elements in the plot back around in the storyline; this film also does a concrete job at ending the film on a stable note. There were no cliffhangers. Overall, “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” did not disappoint, and I would certainly recommend this film to everyone!
