It’s been a long fifty years since the Kansas City Chiefs won a super bowl. As of February 2, 2020, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida; the Superbowl champions are the Kansas City Chiefs. This was the Super Bowl game between San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. The first half of the game was back and forth between both teams, with the game tied at ten points before halftime. The halftime performance was sponsored by Pepsi, with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez headlining. They both brought in the Latin heat, the crowd was going wild. The first half of the performance was Shakira and she brought out a guest performer which was Bad Bunny. They performance one of his hit songs “I Like It”, then did salsa dancing. Next up J-Lo performed and brought out her guest performer which was J- Balvin. They both performed “Mi Gente” with a remix to “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”. In the end both Shakira and J-Lo both came together alongside J-Lo daughter Emme to end the show. Emme sang “Let Get Loud” and “Born in the USA”. In the third quarter, the 49ers started with Robbie Gould field goal rushing a touchdown by Raheem Mostert giving them a twenty vs ten lead heading into the fourth quarter. In the last 6:13 of the game, the Chiefs offense, led by Patrick Mahomes, completed three touchdown, including touchdown passes to Travis Kelce and Damien Williams, to take the lead just before the two-minute warning. The Chiefs then stopped the 49ers on defense, and a late rushing touchdown by Damien Williams, as well as a Kendall Fuller interception, sealed the victory and ended the Chiefs’ 50-year championship drought.
