Though the weather is still catching up, fall has officially arrived here at Immaculata University! Here are a few themed activities designed to help you celebrate.
Sugartown Strawberries, a family-owned working farm located in Malvern, offers a hayride into a pumpkin patch during each weekend in the month of October. The hayrides run from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, as long as weather allows. Sugartown Strawberries also showcases a lovely Country Store, where you can find the perfect decorations to make your home (or home-away-from-home) feel just like fall!
If you are in the mood for some spooky fun, look no further than the Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride. Located in Glen Mills just off of Route 352, this haunted house attraction is a popular choice, especially as Halloween grows closer. The Bates Motel is open for business from 6:30PM to 9:30PM from Sunday through Wednesday, and from 6:30PM to 10:30PM from Thursday through Saturday.
Finally, to get into the trick-or-treating spirit without feeling scared, try making a Halloween snack! These lollipop ghosts are very easy to put together. All that you need is a bag of lollipops, a box of tissues, some festive ribbon, and a Sharpie! Fasten the tissue around the lollipop and tie it off with a ribbon. Then you can draw eyes, a nose, and a mouth to make an adorable ghost. Share them with your classmates or pass them out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween!
If you take any of these suggestions into consideration, please send photos to the Immaculatan staff! Happy fall!
